VOTING
RESTRICTIONS
Wisconsin Republicans have gone to every extent to limit mail in voting in the state. They passed three bills this past session alone, which target mail in voting, tighter ID laws, and put in place new requirements for those who are deemed "indefinitely confined". Thanks to Democratic leadership in the Governor's mansion, all of these attempts to suppress the vote were vetoed.
IMPACT ON
STUDENT VOTERS
Out-of-state students have to go through a confusing process at their university to obtain a student voter card as a form of ID. Many out of state students in other states usually just use their school-issued ID. These ID requirements are confusing and have a clear intent to suppress the student vote.
